Such a nice restaurant. Super elegant and chill and bougieeee but worth. Hung out in the bar area before dinner and that was nice also. kinda got an odd waft of the dish kitchen from somewhere. if u have worked at a restaurant before u know the smell I'm talking about. My favorite lowkey was the ice cream. It is $6 and it had me thinking maybe I should come back sometime just for a scoop of ice cream. Second fave was the grilled octopus that was smackin fr. super great texture im picky about octopus hate when it's so chewy. I ordered the short rib and they brought me the pork belly and K was fully prepared to shut my mouth and eat it but we did end up getting my plate of short rib lol. Nice place for a special date for the average joe, but the above average joe definitely be coming here for a random week day dinner.

And now we welcome the new year. Full of things that have never been -- Rainer Maria Rilke A last minute reservation for NYE resulted in a lovely dinner at MKT. A 6 course second seating with music and DJ to ring in 2025. The food was excellent...particularly the tuna amuse bouche, caviar course, truffle pasta and wagyu tenderloin. View of SF was pretty and we got a deal on a half bottle of Ridge 2015 Montebello when my first choice (the cheaper choice) was sold out. The DJ was heavy on 60's - 70's almost novelty hits, could have used some more funk or Prince. Service was outstanding. A great dinner at the last moment :-) Highly recommended! At least on NYE :-)!

256 MKT Restaurant||MKT Restaurant and Bar Address: 757 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA Inside the Four Seasons Hotel, take the elevator to the L floor The popcorn snacks given are cumin-flavored, very barbecued, and quite delicious GRILLED SPANISH OCTOPUS Grilled Octopus Very tender, with a strong barbecue flavor, the black sauce is salty and sour, the slices are radishes, and the white balls are pears, which are quite delicious HOUSE MADE CHICKEN LIVER MOUSSE Chicken Liver Mousse Onion sauce, sweet, and fish roe The chicken liver is not fishy, you can taste the taste of chicken liver when you eat it alone, but you can't taste any chicken liver taste when you spread it on bread The hot bread is spread with cold sweet onion sauce and salty chicken liver, it tastes good together You can add more bread if you don't have enough CALIFORNIA WILD KING SALMON It's just ordinary salmon, with a sauce mixed with shredded beef and kale at the bottom SEARED SONOMA CHICKEN Roast Chicken Creamy mashed potatoes, the skin of the roast chicken is quite crispy, the taste is just ordinary roast chicken, not very juicy, a piece of mushroom on top, and a lot of roasted Brussels sprouts HIRAMASA KINGFISH sturgeon Basically it was raw, we didn't like eating raw food, so we asked the waiter if we could reheat it and make it well-done. The supervisor came over and told us to make another well-done one for us But after communicating with the chef, he told us that this fish cannot be cooked well, and the well-done fish meat will be very dry. We can change it to salmon, but Wang didn't want to eat salmon, so he changed it to pasta RIGATONI BOLOGNESE pasta It's just tomato meat sauce pasta, nothing special, Zhu thinks it's quite delicious, I don't feel the same Bucket of sparkling water- It's too expensive, I didn't expect it to be such a big bottle G-Flowers Vineyards &Winerry a glass of wine- Zhu commented that it's not hard to drink The restaurant environment is good, the service is also very good, but the taste is not particularly amazing #San Francisco Food [Topic]#

Many ppl don't know about this place because it's hidden in the Four Seasons Hotel. I've been to this restaurant on multiple occasions for breakfast, bar bites and dinner. Never had a bad meal here. The chicken wings on the Bar Bites menu were so flavorful. The burger was delicious - not greasy. Definitely a burger you can feel good about eating. We actually arrived shortly before they started taking dinner orders at 3pm. Wait staff is always nice. Definitely a good place to grab a drink after work if you're in the FiDi area. Not super crowded on the weekends. Always clean and great seating to watch a game in the Bar area.

Nestled inside The Four Season's hotel in downtown SF, we love coming here. Everyone makes it a point to remember you. When you return, they will make sure to say welcome back. We love the fact that they are there to make sure your experience is the best possible they can provide. Whatever you see on the menu, they can customize it to exactly the way you want it. It's just an extra special way to spend some quality family time without the time constraints, the noise of too many people or the feeling that you guys are just one of many. We will always cherish the special attention everyone at MKT gives us every time we go there. And I hope they never change.

I had a breakfast at MKT. The interior is stunning, table-wear, flowers and soft carpet promise great meal. However, the Eggs Benedict with salmon and coffee were not more than just ok. I would recommend this place for business breakfast meetings, when you are more focused on talk than food.

Haven't been back to MKT since covid. Visited yesterday and walked they the lobby with much festivities - lights, smell of fresh trees and holiday music. Took elevator up to where the bar is and enjoy a couple drinks with a friend. Prices were a tad pricey same as before but service was great and ambiance was nice and pours were generous! They also provide popcorn and assorted nuts complimentary. It's a nice place for a quiet catch up. Will return! Cost wise approximately 20-25/drink.

Came here with a friend - "view" on market street. Excellent service: waiter was on top of it, professional, caring, attentive, and knew his menu. I think the service was by far the only reason i might return because the food was just not exceptional at all. Burrata salad was beautiful and yummy. No salt but i could have added it and i appreciated the heirloom tomatoes and the balsamic bubbles. It was pleasing to look at and to taste. The entree selections for vegetarians was quite boring; - butternut squash risotto.. so common and sweet not my fav so i passed - pasta "minus lamb".. so basically pasta in ref tomato sauce for like $40.. pass thank you - mushroom gnocci "minus bacon": basic taste, no salt, not much flavor, but a very generous portion i couldnt finish so at least it fills you up Desert: overpriced. pretty but not really yummy. The tiramisu looked great, i liked the good leaf, the "body" tasted good but not excellent and the mousse was soooooooo sweet we could not have it. Dessert was something like $16 which i think is way over the top. Ordered a non alcoholic tea drink that was $14 and came in a Champagne flute.. overpriced and did t even taste good. The waiter accidentally said it came in a box and they added a dried pear in it. Anyway kind of ridiculous. I would never return despite the fact that service was great and i loved the smell of fire burning. Restaurant atmosphere was quiet and nice and bathrooms were clean. Appreciated that.

Stopped for a drink at the bar on a Tuesday... Food - had the warm citrus olives. They were good overall. The dried oregano (?) topping sprinkled on top could have been omitted. And I would have liked more green Spanish olives. Service - all good on that front Ambiance - was frankly a bit too old classical and needs to be modernized At the bar the snacks du jour were popcorn and some sort of fried corn. Would have been nice to not have corn two ways, fried and popped. Though hats off to the chef as I counted 4 in total if they are sticking with the "Four" Seasons theme--caramel popcorn, spicy popcorn, plain popcorn, and, finally, fried corn kernels. Giving 4 out of 5 stars given the high pricing counterbalanced by the overall great service and perceived play on four seasons of corn.
